A memorial service celebrating the life of William L. Jeffers, Jr., age 59, of Sauk Rapids, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Granite City Baptist Church in Saint Cloud off of County Road 134. Pastor Dennis Campbell will officiate and there will be a luncheon to follow. William passed away late afternoon on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home with family at his side. There will be a visitation after 10:30 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
William was born September 4, 1955 to William and Mildred (Holmes) Jeffers in Huntington, West Virginia. He had five siblings and spent most of his life in the Saint Cloud area. William had three children and worked for Pro-Staff as a Production Worker. He was a member of Granite City Baptist Church.
William is survived by his mother Mildred Jeffers, Tampa, FL; children Robert (Angela) DeVore, St. Cloud; Lisa (Jeremy) Schlough, St. Cloud; Amy Jeffers, Sauk Rapids; siblings Roger (Carolyn) Jeffers, Sauk Rapids; Phillip (Chris) Jeffers, Worlington, VA; Phyllis Blagg, Tampa, FL; Teresa Thacker, Tampa, FL; four grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father William, Sr., and sister Mary Baker.

Bill was my father. He will always be with me. And as hard as it is to move forward I know my dad would not want me to cry and be sad all the time, but to remember all the good times we had together. I love my dad now and forever.I can’t wait until we are together again.
