


Jay D. Dahl
The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Jay D. Dahl, age 53 of St. Cloud, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 2, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Jay died peacefully at his home on Saturday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Thursday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again after 10:00 AM, Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes.
Jay was born April 23, 1964, in St. Cloud to Elmer and Beatrice “Poo” (Paggen) Dahl. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1982. Most recently, he was a glass installer for Mike’s Auto Glass in Milaca.
Jay is survived by his loving companion, Sue Boom; children, Eric Tenvoorde, St. Cloud; Sondra Tenvoorde, St. Cloud; his mother, Poo Dahl, St. Cloud and his siblings, Jim (Dayna) Dahl, St. Cloud; Jean Dahl, Frankfort, KY and Jody (Andy) Frye, Minneapolis.
Jay enjoyed a simple life filled with friends and family. He accumulated a vast group of friends who valued their time sharing food and funny stories with Jay. His humorous observations on life will be missed by all. With Jay gone many more cars will be driven with dents.
Jay is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Dahl and a niece.
