The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Frederick J. Zeis, age 55 of Holdingford, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 20, at the Church of All Saints, St. Mary’s in Holdingford. Burial will be in the Arban cemetery. Fred died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital from Covid. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19 and again after 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 20 at the church in Holdingford. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes.
Fred was born May 17, 1966 in St. Cloud to Gerald and Ramona (Vos) Zeis. He grew up on his family farm and graduated from High School in 1984. Fred was a lifelong farmer and tractor enthusiast. Particularly, John Deere tractors. He loved his Ford pickup, cattle and his dogs.
Fred is survived by his parents, Gerald and Ramona Zeis, Avon; his children, Tim Zeis, Holdingford; Levi Zeis, St. Cloud, Anna Zeis, Brooten; his sister, Beverly (Andy) Kostreba, Holdingford; and his girlfriend Roselyn Zilka, Holdingford.

There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19 and again after 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 20 at the Church of All Saints-St. Mary, in Holdingford.

It’s very hard for me to comprehend that God has taken Fred home. I just got done speaking to him!!!! I’m so sorry to hear about his passing! My sympathy goes out to the whole family! Especially my dear friend Roselyn ( Rosie) this sure is a devastating time! Just know that we are here supporting you !

So very sorry to hear of Mona And Jerry’s son, Fred. Two of the greatest and most loving couples lost a wonderful man, and so young. God bless you both, your family, especially Beverly and special friend, Rosalie. God bless all his children, your friends and relatives. Such a great loss to all who knew him.

I’m very positive the same goes for your family. This is very shocking to all of us! It wasn’t long ago that I talked to you and we talked about the olden days .
You mentioned to me the dream in your life was to find a loving lady Rosie and how the two of you grew close to each other and work hard on the farm.
I can’t believe that this NASTY COVID crap can take such a toll on some people!!! I’m so very sorry for this to have happened to you , and I do hope that your family will all stay well!!!!!!!
