


Memorial service, celebrating the life of Yvonne Evelyn McDonald, age 73, of St. Cloud will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday. Yvonne peacefully passed away Friday evening at Carefree Living in St. Cloud. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Yvonne was born March 24, 1937 to Evelyn (McGraw) and Milton Ouimette in Minneapolis. She grew up in the cities and graduated from Hamline University with a degree in Nursing. Yvonne married David McDonald on September 7, 1957 in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple lived in Wadena for a short time before moving to St Cloud in 1966. She was a head nurse at many nursing care facilities before retiring from the St.Cloud Manor in 1977.Yvonne is survived by her husband David McDonald, St Cloud; her children Michael McDonald, Rice; Julie (David) Rassier, Moorhead; Karen Spalding, Dallas TX; and Barbara Deuermeyer, Sauk Rapids; her brothers and sister Neil Ouimette, Arizona; Jean Jordet, Loretto, MN; George Ouimette, Arizona; and Dan Ouimette, Indiana; and 6 grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her sister Gaile Phillips.
