Coursolle, Thomas Louis
Age 75, of St. Cloud, MN passed away peacefully November 21, 2018 at Good Samaritan of Waconia, MN. Preceded in death by parents Louis and Mildred Coursolle. Survived by sisters Janet Coursolle of Minneapolis, Dorothy Thorman (David) of Victoria, Ellen Thoma (Tom Anderson) of Prescott, WI and Ann Coursolle of Chalfont, PA as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
After graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA in 1972, Tom moved to Dallas, TX where he co-founded a commercial photography studio and worked in the photography industry. While in Dallas, Tom continued his lifelong love of flying, including small planes, ultralight aircraft and remote-controlled planes, building his own ultralights and remote-controlled planes.An avid outdoorsman, Tom was an expert sailor and skier, serving on a ski rescue patrol while living in Minnesota. Tom’s interests also included all genres of music. He enjoyed playing the guitar, especially classical guitar, and teaching guitar to his students. He retired to St. Cloud in 2005.Tom will always be remembered for his wry sense of humor, creativity, keen intellect and courage in facing many health challenges during his life.
Thanks to all the caregivers at Good Samaritan and to Park Nicollet Hospice who provided care and support to Tom. A private family memorial service will be held.
