Marion Louise Baker

Marion Louise Baker, age 91, of Sartell, passed away on August 3, 2026, at St. Cloud Hospital.

A service celebrating Marion's life will be held at Country Manor Chapel at 10:00 AM on September 3, 2026. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Marion was born on March 29, 1935, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Edward and Eva (Schoenher) Nielsen. She married William Curtis Baker on August 8, 1953, at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Together, they made their home in the St. Cloud area and raised their family.

Marion is survived by her sons; Jim (Mary) of Grand Rapids, Mike (Michelle) of Sauk Rapids, and Roger (Rebecca Crohn) of St. Cloud. Marion 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Gary (Lori) Nielsen, along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; son, Duane; her parents, Edward and Eva Nielsen; sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Kammeier, Lunette, Antoinette, and Cynthia; brother, Thomas; nephews, TJ; brothers-in-law, Robert (Jeanette), Kenneth, Sam, and Daniel.
