


Services celebrating the life of Kellie L. Deters, age 52 of Clearwater, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 10th at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Clearwater. Private burial will be at a later date. Kellie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday at the Quiet Oaks Hospice House after a long illness with cancer. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again one hour before the services Thursday at the church.
Kellie was born November 2, 1964 to Terry and Carol (Glaeser) Murray. She grew up in Eagan and graduated from Rosemount High School in 1983. She met Michael Deters and they were married on September 5, 1998 on a dock in Pine City. The couple moved to Clearwater and Kellie was a cook at the Annandale Elementary School.
Kellie is survived by her parents, Terry and Carol Murray, Cold Spring; her husband, Mike Deters, Clearwater and her four children; Michael Deters, Leighton Gjelhaug, Kayla Deters, Kameron Deters; her sisters, Michelle Murray Cottage Grove and Teresa Trout, Richmond.
She is preceded in death by her son, Zachery Deters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Quiet Oaks Hospice House.

We are so sorry for your loss. We are also very thankful we were able to see Kellie last month and tell her how much we loved her. She will be remembered fondly by all of us. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all!
