


Memorial services celebrating the life of Jessica Lynn Vogt, 37, of Sauk Rapids, will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Chapel, St. Cloud. Associate in Ministry Christie Meier will officiate and a private family burial will take place at a later date. Jessica died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon from a neurological condition. There will be a visitation after 2:00 PM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being made with Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, St. Cloud.Jessica was born March 3, 1977 to Burl and Peggy (Sukraw) Boyer in Crosby, MN. She was raised with her siblings in various central MN towns and graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1995. Since then, Jessica received her Paralegal Associates Degree, graduated with honors, and was recently pursuing her Bachelors in Paralegal through MSB. She had a passion for learning and loved the law. Jessica was an intelligent woman who worked hard, even making the Dean’s List each semester. She was an animal lover and shared three cats and a dog with her fiancée and children. Jessica was also a grandpa’s girl and is remembered as a little girl naming each of her thumbs “vanilla” and “chocolate” and letting him choose one while she sucked the other. She is described as having a high heart, selfless, and humble. Jessica has always been a major supporter of her family and friends, illustrated by her unfailing help while her mother was battling breast cancer a while ago. She wanted to help others and she made time for everyone in her life, oftentimes putting herself last. Although she lived with chronic pain and migraines, Jessica stayed active with her daughters, fiancée, family, and friends. Her girls were her everything. She loved to read, enjoyed traveling, and was a contributing supporter of KVSC radio station. Jessica has worked full-time for Encore Capital Group as a paralegal for the past two years. She was an amazing mother. She was an amazing woman. It was Jessica’s wish to be an organ and tissue donor which was made possible by LifeSource. Through this last selfless act, she will be gifting more than 70 people through various tissue donations, including burn victims, and helping more than 5 people through major organ donation.Jessica is survived by her mother, Peggy Peltier (Jerry Ganske), Hewitt; fiancée Jesse Wheeler, Sauk Rapids; daughters Brittney and Mackenzie Suchy, at home in Sauk Rapids; siblings Betsy Peabody, Moorhead; Adam (Tracey Schmitz) Boyer, Carlos; stepsister Belinda Peltier, Greenwald; stepbrother to be Mitchell Ganske, Bertha; as well as many other family and countless friends.She is preceded in death by her fathers Burl Boyer and Mike Peltier.Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Jessica’s Girls’ Fund.

So sorry for your loss, Jess was a wonderful person and very caring and thoughtful. The short time I got to work with Jess at the bank will bring and hold so many memories. I am saddened by the loss and she will be missed dearly by all.
I am honored to have met Jess and thankful for the love and happiness she brought to others. She will be missed but will never be forgotten.
I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I was not fortunate enough to know Jess in life, but from the stories of her fiancée, I know Jess was a very special woman who touched a lot of lives and improved them just by being herself. My thoughts are with you all.

I wish so much that Pam and I had had the chance to meet and get to know Jess. I am very saddened to hear about Jess leaving us! My deepest sympathy to her entire family!! She will be deeply missed. I had the pleasure of spending time with her when she lived in Carlos and we had some good times. I send special condolences to her girls and her mom of whom I also have the pleasure of knowing! Dear Peggy and all your loved ones…I will never understand such a beautiful lady being taken so young. Jess’s gifts to others is beyond beautiful. Hearts breaking and recovery is almost impossible…her love for her daughters…her mom and all of you will be a treasure, but it will not heal you…not now but will bring a smile to your lips as your love carries her through heaven and all who went before her. May every angel surround all of you as this beyond sad time happens. I am so so so sorry. See you all Friday.
I remember the day I met jess in grade school… She always was filled with grace and love through out her life. I will keep her family in my prayers and take comfort in knowing she is home now.
Mackenzie and Brittney – I will always remember your mother – her beautiful smile and the way that she adored you both!! She will be greatly missed!! I can’t imagine the emotions you two must be having. Please reach out to your family and friends – they are there for you and WANT you to confide in them. Of course, if you are back up here in the Alexandria/Carlos area – you can always search out some of your teachers – we are here to and would LOVE to see you anytime!!
