


Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Jeanette E. Goebel, age 74, of Albany will be
Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford. Father
Mark Stang will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.
Family and Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Friday
morning. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in
Holdingford.Jeanette was born April 11, 1936 to Marie “Mary” (Fuchs) and Herman Wenker in Greenwald,
MN. She married Roman Goebel on June 2, 1959 in Greenwald. After marriage, the couple lived
in the Albany Holdingford area on the farm. Jeanette was a home-maker and loving mother of six
children. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford where she was
also a member of the Christian Mothers.Jeanette is survived by her children, David (Donna) Goebel, Freeport; Joyce (Gerald)
Ehrlichmann, Holdingford; Julie (Kenneth) Herdering, Holdingford; Jacqueline (Mark)
Svejkovsky, Paynesville; Janine (Kyle) Kerfeld, Albany; Jennifer (Dennis) Lardy, Richmond; and
15 grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roman who passed away August 27, 2001,
and her sister MaryAnn Meyer.Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers
