Sympathies to the family. May you take comfort in all your memories..
We extend our condolences to Jan’s family. Jan was a VERY active person in the years she’s lived in FL. She was quite an athlete and participated in softball, pickle ball, and golf to name a few. There were times she substituted as a bowler in our league and bowled alongside her sister Kathy and her niece Dana. When we saw Jan she was usually on the move …. walking was her chosen mode for getting around. She enjoyed putting on those headphones, listening to her music, and walking from place to place, or activity to activity. Jan was kind, loving, and always willing to help others. She will be missed, but we find solace in knowing she’s at peace.
Wonderful lady to deal with at the DMV .it made going there a more pleasant expirence .
Knew her as an Albany Elementary mom & a local DMV rep in Albany. It’s a looong time ago (right Cory & Jill), but I just remember her as being a positive influence in her kids’ lives. She wasn’t overzealous or extreme. She simply advocated for her kids. As a teacher, that meant a lot. With her “other” hat on, I just remember picking up my tabs, and catching-up on her kids. Always fun. She went above-and-beyond after my husband passed away, to make sense of licensing/ownership issues with boat trailer, vehicles, etc. When your life was a blur, she made parts of it more clear. That’s pretty amazing.
My Sympathies to all.
Find “good” in her “good”.
And keep that legacy alive…
I extend my condolences to Jan’s family! Jan and I worked together at Fingerhut many years ago when we both were 20 yrs old. Jan and I stayed friends ever since then. She was truly a wonderful, fun, compassionate, and kind friend❣️We played softball together. We went out to celebrate our birthdays and some drinks. Jan was always pretty positive about most things! I will miss her very much!
