Felicitas “Phyllis” Vornbrock, age 80, of Upsala, MN, passed away on September 19, 2021, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, MN
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Upsala, MN. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 9:00 AM until the time of services.
Felicitas “Phyllis” Vornbrock was born on March 6, 1941, in New Munich, MN to Anton and Christina (Eichoff) Massmann. On June 27, 1961, Phyllis was united in marriage to Gerald Vornbrock at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich, MN.
Phyllis was a member of St. Mary’s Christian Mothers. She enjoyed going to polka fests in New Ulm, MN, and dances in general. Phyllis was a lifetime homemaker who took pride in her cooking, family time, and the farm life.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Vornbrock; children, Pamela (Carl) Janssen, Anita (John) Wiechmann, Roman (Nona) Vornbrock, Donald (Kelly) Vornbrock, Judith Vornbrock, Marlene Vornbrock, Ann (Matt) Fonder, and Daniel Vornbrock; grandchildren, Brittany (Clint), Adam (Kenzie), Megan, and Mitchell. Luke (Kailee), Nick (Lacy), Laura, Casey (Sheila), Alisha, Amber, Michael, Lori, Dylon, Emily, Anton, Joseph, and Kobio; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Anthony (Marion) Massmann, Christine Wochnick, and Celestine (Bea) Massmann; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Steven, 7 brothers, and 3 sisters.
