Services celebrating the life of Charles Schneider, age 77 of Waite Park will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 27 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Burial will be in the Assumption cemetery. Chuck died Saturday, December 15, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. There will be a visitation after 10:00 AM, Thursday the 27th at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Chuck was born January 28, 1941 in St. Cloud to Sylvester and Mary (Rau) Schneider. He grew up in Waite Park. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Kuepers on February 17, 1962 in Waite Park. The couple lived in Duluth from 1964 until moving to St. Paul in 1967. He then settled in Cottage Grove to raise his family until he moved back to Waite Park with Betty. Chuck became a district manager for Sherwin Williams Paint. They returned to Waite Park in 1987 where Chuck opened St. Cloud Paint and Wallpaper in the North Gate Shopping Center. He retired in 2000. He was a member of the Waite Park city council for 13 years, as well as served as Waite Park’s acting mayor. He took great pride in his many accomplishments for the city of Waite Park. After Betty died in September of 2009, Chuck met the new love of his life, Linda Arnold, and they were able to spend 9 wonderful years together.
Chuck is survived by Linda Arnold, Waite Park; his children, Lisa Kramer, Woodbury; Kurt (Stephanie) Schneider, Minneapolis; grandchildren, Amanda (Joshua) Grochow and Joshua (Natana) Kramer; great-grandchildren, Melanie, Annali and one on the way. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken (Sharon) Schneider, Venice, FL and Gregg (Cyndi) Schneider, Fort Myers, FL.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Schneider and his sister, Margaret Driver.

Dear family of Chuck. I was the presider at Betty’s funeral. I am so sorry to hear about Chuck’s death. We have “run” into each other from time to time. I wish I had known he was at Quiet Oaks. I would have visited him. Blessings to all of you during this time of sorrow. Michele Rosha
