Rejoice with us in celebrating the life of Adam E. Brophy, age 32 of St Cloud, at 1:00PM, Wednesday, April 15 at Harvest Fellowship church in Sauk Rapids. Burial will be at North Star Cemetery in St Cloud. There will be a gathering from 4-8:00 PM Tuesday at Harvest Fellowship Church and again one hour prior to the service. Adam’s Mom and Dad, Gary and Sandy Brophy were blessed and proud parents of Adam who was born June 15, 1982. Buffalo was his home where he grew up and enjoyed sports, scouting, trips out west, summers at the cabin, friends and family. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 2001.
While attending SCSU in 2005 he met the love of his life Mackenzie Brophy at the SCSU rock climbing wall. They were avid rock climbers, fell deeply in love and married in 2006. He was a humble, selfless, serving and loving Husband. Together they had three beautiful children Ava Joy, Eli Adam and Noah Edward. He put his family above everything else. He was also a committed employee at Anderson Trucking Service.
Most importantly Adam was a child of God. He made a decision to follow Jesus. He loved and served Him well. Even though Adam suffered these past few years he lived by this scripture; “consider it pure joy my brothers whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:1-4
In addition to his family Adam was loved by many. Some of those closer to him were brother, Christopher Brophy and his son Jaxson, his in-laws Julie (Madre) and Leif(Pa) Spore. Sister in law Jocelyn (Kelly Throne)Spore, nephew Kaiden Throne, Brother in Law Caleb Spore. Loving grandparents, Evelyn Brophy, Marie Wegler, Harlan and LuLu Darkenwald and Ruth Spore.
Adam is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Brophy, Richard Wegler and Clayton Spore.

OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. ADAM WAS A CLASSMATE AND NEIGHBOR OF OUR SONS. SO SAD TO HAPPEN TO A YOUNG FAMILY. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU.
Mackenzie,
My heart hurts for you and your babies. It is so good that you have the strength of your family and faith to help you through this time.
I knew, in the short time I was with you, that Adam was a very good and kind person. He loved all of you so very much.
Last week Sunday, the 5th, you popped into my mind. I took time to search for you on Facebook to see how you and Adam are doing. Because we’re not FB friends I couldn’t really see much. But, when I heard of this news on Saturday my heart just sank.
I am sending you hugs and love.
Denise
I happened to come across the news of Adam’s passing on Facebook. I have not seen him for years. I worked with him at Target many years ago and ran into him at SCSU every now and then. He was such a nice guy, always smiling. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you can all find comfort in good memories. Take care.
As (non-traditional) student at SCSU, I recall many times seeing this young man walking across campus with his amazing hair. Although I did not know him, I remember his smile. You are being thought of.
Mackenzie, I met your husband a few year back when I started with target we both worked logistics and adam was such a great person to work with always happy and when I found out that he was a christen we even had more to talk about. I was saddened to here of his passing but take comfort in the fact that this is just goodbye for a little while. I will be praying for you and your family I am so blessed that I got to know him.
