William Carlin, Funeral Director, CFSP, CSA, CPC, CCO
Bill Carlin grew up in Clear Lake and graduated from Technical High School in St. Cloud. He earned a bachelors degree in Business from St. Cloud State University and continued at the University of Minnesota where he received his degree in Mortuary Science. his career extends not only from central Minnesota, but into the Twin Cities metro area. He has served families during their funeral needs since the mid-1980s. With his education and years of experience, Bill has earned the titles of "Certified Funeral Service Practitioner", "Certified Preplanning Consultant", "Certified Senior Advisor", and "Certified Crematory Operator". Along with his license to practice funeral service, Bill is also a licensed insurance agent. He is involved in several local groups, including the St Cloud Lions, St Cloud Granite Rotary, and St Cloud Antique Car Club. He is Past-President of the Foundation Board of Directors for the Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Past-Chair of Chamber Connection with the St Cloud Chamber of Commerce. Bill is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, The Cremation Association of North America, the International Cemetery Crematory and Funeral Association, and the Arrowhead Funeral Directors Association.
Lezlie Carlin, Office Manager, CPC
Lezlie Carlin Grew up in St Cloud. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Nursing. Lezlie has managed a child-care center and worked as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the Saint Cloud Hospital. She has been designated as a "Certified Pre-Planning Consultant" by the National Funeral Directors Association and she is a licensed insurance agent. Her experience in family issues and critical care situations, along with her experience working at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, gives her the knowledge to assist you during the decision making process of preplanning a funeral service.
Eric Warmka, Funeral Director, CPC, CCO
Eric Warmka is a native to Wells, Minnesota, where he grew up on his family farm. He earned a degree in Business from Saint Cloud State University in 2006. He attained a second degree in Mortuary Science in the summer of 2010. He is a "Certified Pre-Planning Consultant", a "Certified Crematory Operator", and a licensed insurance agent. Prior to joining the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes in 2005, Eric held positions in customer service jobs where he was continuously promoted within the companies he worked for. In 2008, Eric was named the Director of Preneed Services at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes. Eric volunteers for Meals on Wheels and attends Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids where he currently lives.
Bob Brenny, Funeral Director
Bob Brenny grew up in Funeral Service. His father Stan Brenny owned the Brenny Funeral Home and Ambulance Service in Holdingford. After he served in the U.S. Air Force, Bob owned "Granite City Ambulance Service" in St Cloud and then he purchased the Schafer Funeral Home in Albany. In 1975, Bob combined the funeral homes in Albany and Holdingford into one business. For over 30 years, Bob operated his funeral homes on the principle of service. Bob also led the Bob Brenny Band, which became known for polka music at dances across the Midwest. Bob made the difficult decision to retire and he looked for someone who would continue to service the families he had the opportunity to assist over the years. In 2001, Bob tuned over his business to Bill Carlin and the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes. Although "retired", Bob remains active in the Funeral business and assists during visitations and funerals. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association.
Karey Gerads, Funeral Director
Karey Gerads is originally from Holdingford. After graduating from Holdingford High School, she received her degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota. Karey's experience includes working for funeral homes in the Twin Cities area during college and then working as a funeral director for the Cremation Society of Minnesota, the largest provider of cremation service in Minnesota. Karey joined the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes in February of 2001. In addition, she is a licensed beautician. Karey is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Arrowhead Funeral Directors Association.
